Freetime Webgroup can provide all the web services that you require. Below are outline prices for our work. They are not hard and fast as you may wish to embellish your site with other functionality. We also sometimes reduce our prices, so it is always worthwhile to get in touch with us to see if we have any special offers on the go.
Below is an example of our prices.
Our client base is mainly Small Business, Self-Employed and Tourism. Many website design companies charge like a bull for a website, but we realise in these challenging times that large budgets are not available, so we calm our prices to meet your needs.
We provide affordable and quality sites with a much function as you require, with optimisation techniques that make the site work ... and which you can update yourself to keep the content fresh, or we are happy to do that for you.
Below are some typical prices for website design from basic starter websites to ecommerce sites. If you are still unsure, give us a call on 01334 871101.
Our Price List
All our websites use the latest award winning Content Management System, Joomla ... and the prices reflect basic websites with standard modules, contact forms and imagery. All websites come with a cookie policy (required) and a site map to help with getting found on the search engines.
To start with, if you don't have a domain name ... i.e. www.mywebsite.co.uk ... you will need one. A .co.uk domain will cost £6.50 for 2 years. We can provide hosting, using a company called Webtapestry based in Manchester. To run a content management system, you will need a database in your hosting plan. That would normally cost you £69.99 per year. As I am a reseller for Webtapestry, I can charge a lot less with prices from £40 per year.
If you have your domain name and hosting already, that is fine. Freetime Webgroup are happy to work with other hosting companies.
Domain Name and Hosting Prices
- .co.uk - £7.50 for 2 years
- .com - £22.50 for 2 years
- Hosting from £40.00 (charged every two years to correspond with domain name renewal)
Website Maintenance
We provide website maintenance at a fixed cost of £35.00 per month. This entitles you to 2 to 3 hours work per month on your website. This is for a 6 month minimum period.
Starter Website - 2 information pages with Contact Form from £250.00
If you realise that you need a website but have not planned the content, then this is a option that you can have. We will provide you with a domain name and hosting for 2 years, with a home page describing your business and a contact form. This does not include any fancy modules or functionality. Search Engine Optimisation included at basic level.
Please be aware, that a single page website and a 100 page website still require the same setting up, design and configuration ... so the prices are not always proportionate to the size of the site.
Level 2 - SME Website with Contact Form from £350.00
This is a standard Content Managed website. We will put together the 5 pages to include about us page, products, enquiry form. You provide the content/copy and images that are required. You can add to the site at your leisure. This does not include any fancy modules or functionality. Search Engine Optimisation included at basic level.
Level 3 - Ten Pages for Small or Medium Business Website from £550.00
This is useful for tourism, or product based business websites where you can have local information pages, events list pages, links pages, product pages. This does not include any fancy modules or functionality. Search Engine Optimisation included at basic level.
Directory Websites from £700.00
A full directory website that will allow you to continually add more companies/people or what ever to your directory listings.

If the functionality is not here that you require, then just ask if it is possible!
Level 1 Ecommerce Website - 5 to 10 products from £500.00
Do you want to sell online ... then this entry level ecommerce site is just the job. Again, you can build the online products yourself as your portfolio of products grows. This would use PayPal or similar as the payment provider. This does not include any fancy modules or functionality. Search Engine Optimisation included at basic level.
Level 2 Ecommerce Website - 11 to 30 products from £650.00
This option can include rotating banners, latest products modules, best seller modules etc. Search Engine Optimisation included at basic level.
What makes up our pricing?
The addition of pages, modules or functionality ... If you need weather widgets, rotating images etc, then this will add to your bottom price ... so please contact us for a proposal for your project.
Design ... The design of the site is time consuming. If you require lots of graphic design work, please expect to have to pay a little extra for this.
Fussing over design ... We have had clients that say they want this, then want it changed to something else, then to something else, then back to the original. This takes time. You will have to pay for fussiness! Be sure to plan your site and know what you want. There are plenty of examples on the World Wide Web.
Typing ... If you provide your copy in paper format, then that takes time and skill ... so please be aware you will have to pay for that service.

Freetime Webgroup now offers a Pay Monthly website scheme to assist new businesses with reduce their outgoings, keeping the cashflow at a maximum and allow the new business to have a brand new website.

By choosing to pay monthly, you will get support for 2 months after the project has started. After that, you may incur maintenance costs. The following features are applicable to the monthly payment plan:
