Joomla Back-up with JoomlaPack - Brilliant

I have just completed a site development to replace an existing site.  I needed to transfer the site to a different server.  Normally, I  go through the pain of uploading all the Joomla software, then install all the components and plugins for the site, upload all the images, then remove the Mysql database, then import the new one.  Takes a while.

This new site had an estate agent software, with images in a different place to images/stories ... so I did a little research and I found JoomlaPack.

What a treasure ...
First install the joomlapack into the new site.  Configure the software in the components menu, and then click on back-up site.

The back-up sits in a folder on the server, so using FTP, download the back-up.

Secondly, make sure where you are sending the site has a clean webspace and upload the KickStart package.  It is just one kickstart.php file.  Upload the backup to the site using FTP.

Lastly, go to www.newsite.com/kickstart.php and press the Start button.  Wait about 5 mins, then follow the instructions.  About 5 minutes later, you have the website working on a new server.
Issues
The permissions on the folder cannot be changed by using FTP, so ensure you have Explorer installed, so you can change permissions in the backend of the site.
